The last part of my project was to share the information with a group of people the way my mentor would when she would meet with different individuals. She said she believed it would be good for my presentation at school. It was a good way of getting comfortable with speaking to the public. I agreed and was excited to practice, My mother says I've always been good with people and speaking to them, in fact they couldn't get me to shush up. I'm not much of a chatter box anymore, but I notice speaking or presenting are not my biggest fear. I sort of enjoy it. I concluded my project with a presentation that involved 5 other people. They were very respectful and their body language confessed to me they took the information under strong consideration. It makes me glad to see people make changes for their well being. When I asked my mentor about things I wasn't sure of or didn't understand, she always provided me with an insightful answer. Unfortunately my visit came to an end and I was to come back to the bay. I didn't come back empty handed though:) I completed my project and came back with a more positive attitude as well as a stronger sense of what I'll do with regards to my future.
